PMOI/MEK, 28 April 2018-- Today, Saturday, April 28, marks the 14th day of a general strike launched by store-owners and bazaar merchants in Baheh, western Iran. Beginning on April 15th as locals began protesting the closure of the Iran-Iraq border and a major increase in tariffs, the strikes continue with more demanding slogans from people and tougher actions by the regime’s local officials...

The people of Saqqez, another city in Iran’s Kurdistan Province, have been holding similar protest rallies and continue to remain in strong solidarity with Baneh and several other cities and towns.
