Iran: Families of plane crash victims stage protest in Tehran
The families of victims of a plane crash staged a protest outside the building of Crisis Management HQ in Tehran on Saturday, April 21, 2018.
The protesters, including many women who had travelled from Yasuj in southwestern Iran, demanded expedition of the search for bodies of their loved ones after two months. They also seek to know the reason for the plane crash.
All passengers and crew onboard an Iranian commercial flight died after the plane crashed on Sunday, February 18, 2018, into Mount Dena, in the south of the country. The twin-engine turboprop ATR-72 plane was 20 years old.
