Mohammad Najafi, a lawyer in Arak, was arrested by security agents of Iranian regime

Mohammad Najafi, a lawyer in city of Arak, in enter of Iran was arrested Monday morning January 14 at his home in Shazand, Arak. During the recent uprising of the Iranian people, he exposed and condemned the repressive actions of the Iranian regime.
Mohammad Najafi had reported about severe beatings in Arak detention centers and informed that he had talked to some people who were beaten in detention centers.
He had also denied claims by Iranian regime that one of the detainees died in Arak prison, Vahid Heidari had committed suicide. He had said that Mr. Heidari's family were under severe pressure by security forces and have been forced to bury him at a place designated by the security officials.
Mr. Najafi was arrested last year by agents of the Intelligence Ministry, and released on bail.
