France: Iran is not respecting the United Nations resolution on ballistic missiles

Iran is not respecting part of a U.N. resolution that calls on Tehran to refrain from work on ballistic missiles designed to carry nuclear warheads, the French foreign minister said.
Speaking on arrival at a European Union foreign ministers meeting in Brussels on Monday, Jean-Yves Le Drian also said the 28 ministers would reiterate their concerns over Iran’s activities in Yemen, Lebanon and Syria, which he described as destabilizing, accorrding to Reuters.
“We will also have the opportunity of underlining our firmness on Iran’s compliance with United Nations Resolution 2231, which limits access to ballistic capacity and which Iran does not respect,” Le Drian  also said.
Ten days ago, US President Donald Tramp announced that if the terrible flaws of the Iran nuclear deal is not fixed, the United States will leave the nuclear deal, and this is the last chance.
After that, the European Union increased the pressure on the Iranian regime to accept negotiations to correct the agreement, as well as to negotiate missile issues and Iranian interference in the region.
The French foreign minister said France had begun talks with Iran to discuss its missile program and regional activities and that he would travel to Tehran in March, although, immediately Iran’s foreign ministry spokesman dismissed the suggestion of talks on these issues.
