Iran: Despite poor health, Atena Daemi was returned to prison
Civil rights activist Atena Daemi who was being sick as a result of hunger strike was taken to Tehran's Taleghani Hospital at midnight of Saturday, May 13, but was returned to Evin Prison despite poor health.
She is suffering from constant nausea and her stomach has lost the ability to hold water.
Daemi started a hunger strike on April 8, 2017, in protest to the sentencing of her sisters on spurious charges.
