• UAE freezes accounts of nine Iranian individuals and entities
The UAE Securities and Commodities Authority has ordered companies to identify and freeze the accounts and assets of nine Iranian individuals and entities the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has placed on its list of entities and individuals it identifies as terrorists and terrorist organizations, according to national news agency WAM.
In May, the country placed the nine on the list for suspected connections with Iran's elite Revolutionary Guards after the United States did the same.
• State Department's Brian Hook: Pompeo Presented Iran with "12 Demands to Become a Normal Country"
State Department Director of Policy Planning Brian Hook holds a news briefing to discuss diplomatic efforts with Iran.
"It has been almost two months since President Trump announced our withdrawal from the Iran deal, and a little over one month since Secretary Pompeo laid out a roadmap for achieving a better deal," Hook recalled.
"The secretary outlined a clear and compelling vision for a better future for the Iranian people.
• Iran Trying to Develop Weapons for Mass Destruction, Missile Tech
A German intelligence agency said that Iran has repeatedly attempted to obtain technology to develop weapons of mass destruction while working on its missile program.
The Office for the Protection of the Constitution in the state of North-Rhine Westphalia, a regional intelligence agency, said in its annual report for 2017.
“In North Rhine-Westphalia, as well as nationwide, there has been increased activities of the so-called Quds” the intelligence agency, which is a special unit of the Iran Revolutionary Guard and has “its own intelligence department, security services, and counterintelligence,” the report stated.
• Women of Khorramshahr protest lack of drinking water in hot summer
Women of Khorramshahr protested against lack of clean drinking water by actively participating in the large scale protests in this key port city of southwestern Iran. Their protests started on June 29, climaxed on June 30, 2018, and continued for three consecutive days. The city's atmosphere continues to be volatile.

• Iran’s Credit Institution Investors Stage Protest in Rasht, Demanding Return of Their Deposits
On Tuesday, July 3, 2018, the looted investors of the Caspian Credit Institute launched a protest against the looting of their property and demanded the return of their deposits from the institute in Rasht, Iran.
The angry protesters chanted:
– “Leave Syria, think of us”
– “What did the hands behind the curtain do with our money?”
The protesters confronted the security guards of the institute building as one of the angry women in the gathering told the police officer: “You are protect the thief.”
• Doctors in Tehran to Non-Medical Instructions in Forced Promotion of Natural Birth
On Tuesday, July 3, 2018, dozens of gynecologists and obstetricians held a protest in Tehran, Iran.
These doctors gathered in protest against the non-clinical guidelines for the mandatory extension of normal delivery in front of the the Iran Medical Council building building on northern Kargar Street in Tehran, Iran.
