IRGC TV congratulates Saleh’s killing, wishes same fate for “treasonous politicians” in Iran + Video

The anchorman of a TV stationed linked to Iran’s Revolutionary Guards (IRGC) congratulated the killing of former Yemeni president Ali Abdullah Saleh and expressed his delight over the speedy nature of this measure. He also hoped individuals considered treasonous politicians (inside the Iranian regime) be punished severely.

Yameen Poor, the anchorman of a show in Iran’s “Ofogh” TV station, conducted an interview with two Houthi members on Monday, December 4^th.

“We express our congratulations. We congratulate the people of Yemen for eliminating an individual who committed treason all these years, and when given a second chance he committed treason again. We are a bit jealous of a nation that can so quickly punish those who commit treason with the utmost punishment. We also are a bit jealous that we haven’t been able to do the same with our own treasonous politicians. We hope our nation is provided such an opportunity through legal means,” he said.

Prior to this Yameen Pour had in another show acknowledged the missile fired by the Houthis was built by Iran.

This anchorman of an IRGC-affiliated TV station expressing his wish of having treasonous politicians in Iran killed comes at a time when internal disputes amongst feuding factions continues to escalate. On Sunday, December 3^rd the Iranian regime’s judiciary chief described the actions of former Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad as treasonous.
